I threw this bowl and cup on the wheel in stoneware clay

and added an undulating texture to the sides

after which I fluted the edge for a charming ruffle inspired by vintage bakeware

I hand painted each flower and leaf sprig in a repeating pattern using underglazes mixed in custom shades and used a slip-trailer to outline the blooms
