Earrings

EarringsThese swinging earrings look a bit like little boats, but, upside down. They are a bit over 1 inch across, and about 1 2 inch in depth. They are light weight, and are on sterling silver hooks. Well, yes, those twisty wires add a bit of length.

I could have cleaned off the fire scale

Then I snip off the excess

and about 36 inches long

The light was glancing off the left earring

with fire patina

The ear wire is sterling silver

They show the marks of the hammer to form them and are about 1 inch across

dark and mysterious

A necklace that evolved into this final patina

It is brass

There is a slight golden gleam on the edge from the underlying brass
