Dutra - Red CatuaiAbout the Coffee The Dutra family has been growing coffee in Caputira, Minas Gerais, Brazil for four generations. Starting from a single hectare in the 1950s, they have expanded into a collection of small, interconnected farms in the Matas de Minas region, now planted with millions of coffee trees across varied terrain ranging from 600 to 1,300 meters elevation. The soils are clay based, and much of the surrounding native forest remains protected.
